Course Description: Supporting teachers as they design and teach for high-leverage learning is the most challenging AND important job you do as an instructional leader. This session will provide you the “how-to’s” for using targeted Framework for Teaching Clusters to provide a structured way to guide data-rich planning conversations, targeted observations, and growth-oriented reflection conversations.
- Learn to use the Plan-Teach-Reflect-Apply Professional Evaluation process to support teaching practice focused on specific Framework for Teaching Clusters
- Experience step-by-step protocols for conducting a focused observation, analyzing the learning data, and engaging in learning-focused planning and reflection conversations
- Gain tips and tools to personalize your own teacher evaluation process to ensure it is “worth-it” for you, teachers, and most importantly, the students
